Edit PDF
Fix a typo, add a watermark, drop in headers, footers or page numbers — without uploading your document anywhere. Open it, edit it, save it, all in your browser.
How to edit pdf
Drop your PDF onto the box above (or click to choose it).
Fudobe opens it in Edit mode.
Change text, add headers, footers, watermarks, page numbers or Bates numbering.
Save the edited PDF to your device — nothing was sent to a server.
Most online PDF tools upload your file to their servers. Fudobe does it in your browser — your document never leaves your device.
Acrobat’s idea of “edit” is a 90-second progress bar. Ours is a cursor.
edit PDF — your questions
Can I edit the actual text in a PDF?+
Yes, you can edit text content directly. (PDFs are a fixed-layout format, so deep reflowing of complex layouts has limits in any tool — but everyday text fixes, additions and overlays work cleanly.)
Is my document uploaded?+
No. Editing happens in your browser. The file stays on your device and is never sent to our servers.
What else can I add besides text?+
Headers, footers, page numbers, watermarks, Bates numbering and document metadata — all from Edit mode.
Is it free?+
Yes — the everyday editing tools are free, no account, no watermark, because they run client-side on your machine.
